Publications & Editions: Maria Nordman

In January of 2004, Maria Nordman and the gallery collaborated in the production and presentation of her work: Standing Pictures: THE NEW CITY BEGINS WITH A GUESTHOUSE WHICH CONTINUES TO BE BUILT one in concert with the next. The installation included a freestanding sculpture which contained two drawings for The New City, a collection of book/sculptures and three Cloth-House works. The exhibition was lit by the light of the sun only and was rearranged daily by the artist. The work continues to travel in its role as guesthouse and has been recently installed in San Francisco and Essen, Germany.
