The gallery has collaborated with Michael Smith and Joshua White on two large-scale installations:
"The QuinQuag Art and Wellness Center" in 2001 and "Take Off Your Pants" in 2005. In 2007, the
gallery exhibited Michael Smith's works on paper "Drawings and Videos from Storage," a survey
exhibition which spanned thirty years of Smith's drawings, from sketches for his performance works
of the 70s to storyboards for his newest video work "Portal Excursion." Michael Smith's latest
project: Baby Ikki at the Museum will be co-published by the gallery and the Whitney Museum
of American Art in March 2012.

Michael Smith first appeared as Baby Ikki in 1975. Since that time, the baby has appeared on the
streets, in museums, at childrens' birthdays and in newspapers and magazines around the world.
Formatted and designed like a children's board book, Baby Ikki at the Museum features the
eighteen-month-old character at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Lacking judgment, consideration,
and caution, Baby Ikki possesses an abundance of curiosity and has an insatiable appetite for
attention. A wide-eyed explorer wandering in a new world, Baby Ikki provides an entirely new
perspective on a visit to the museum.
In 2008 the gallery published Smith's "Sears Class Portraits," selections from an ongoing
photographic project.
